bedsheets

I was flipping through my old sketchbooks while packing and I found this comic from 2010 that I had never posted anywhere, on account of an unfinished panel that never looked good enough to ink. But I eventually bought these sheets and I love them so SO much, and finding this comic reminded me of how excited i was to sleep under them, to be like a giant sleeping under the rolling hills. And then throw off the covers and call it an earthquake.

PS: these are the sheets

Caper Con Carne

The finished chili comic!! I finished it just in time for SPX after a two-week scramble. It’s based on my mom’s excellent chili that I finally learned how to cook by myself this year, and the recipe is on the mini-exclusive 12th page!

I’m super proud of this one.

The ram horn barrettes are from Miss Monster and I'm absolutely crazy about them.

Eggs

Here's a comic I've been sitting on for two years. Also appropriate for today! I started to ink it but other projects took over and I kinda forgot about it, so just sketchy eggshell browns for you.

Humphrey Comix #1

We have a new puppy named Humphrey, and his hobbies include eating things he finds on the ground and pooping in the house. It was pretty dark when I walked him tonight so I could not immediately tell if it was a weave, but he sure found a lot of them out there. We live across from an elementary school, so I really can't imagine where they came from.

I apologize to my neighbors for sticking it on their bushes where he can't reach.
